RESEARCH INTERESTS

Application of electron microscopy and microanalysis for characterization of materials and minerals
at microscopic level and understanding of material structure, properties, and  behavior, including the
processes of crystal growth and phase transformations. Research activities can be divided into three main fields:

(i) Defects in crystals

(ii) Zeolite crystal chemistry and growth

(iii) Structural and compositional characterization of amphiboles
